LOT 1: Zevida CS

2004 Chestnut Mare (Consul x Cassie Girl) Consigned by Devon Zebrovious Cherry Blossom Farm LLC.
SOLD through Make an Offer - BIDDING CLOSED
Current Bid: $0.00          Next Bid: $1,000.00          SOLD
LOT IS CLOSED
Notes: Zeda has excellent conformation, is well balanced, and is a lovely mover that usually wins or gets a high hack ribbon. She is laid back, and goes in a nose-poking, natural hunter frame. She has good form over fences, with a lot of scope, and has a big step. She sticks just around 16 hh with her shoes on, so she could most likely get measured as a USEF small junior horse.Zeda has shown at both local (VHSA) and USEF-rated hunter shows up to 3, almost always with an amateur rider, and she has plenty of ability to go much. She does her lead changes in the show ring, but does not like to be schooled on them at home; since she does know what she is supposed to do, and does them when she needs to do them, we do not worry about them at home. She could easily go into the jumper ring instead, as she can be as fast and handy as you want, and has no problem with combinations or tricky approaches. She loves to have to think when schooling, so we do roll-backs, bending lines, etc. routinely. She has hunted for four seasons in the first (jumping) field, going out regularly with Middleburg Hunt, and has capped with the Piedmont Foxhounds, Orange County Hunt, and Snickersville Hunt. She can easily do a fast, 4 to 5-hour hunt. She is routinely used as the guest horse whenever we have a friend visit. She knows her job in the hunt field very well, and has no problem with hounds in/around/under her, nor other horses getting close to her. She is incredibly handy, and can trot or canter her fences. She has jumping a wide variety of coops, stone walls, and rails while hunting, ranging from 23-39, and has no issues. She has excellent feet, and has always been barefoot behind. She is also quite big-bodied, so can easily take a taller rider (her owner is almost 59, and all leg). She has an in-your-pocket personality, is very easy to deal with on the ground, trailers, clips, etc. She is not mareish, is very sound of mind and body, and lives in a mixed herd of mares and geldings with no issue. She does best in a regular program.Zeda is an exceptional horse for the discriminating buyer, whether for the hunters, jumpers, or hunt field.

Current Bid: $0.00          Next Bid: $500.00          SOLD

Notes: 7 year old grey thoroughbred gelding ready to be a small adult hunter or childrens horse. Willie has been showing for 2 years in the baby greens and local hunters. He has shown at the A level and local level. Very nice jumper and mover. Never looks at jumps and has a huge stride for a smaller horse. He has been used in a lesson program and ridden extensively cross country. He does his changes and needs no prep to show. He will sit in a trailer all day long by himself. He loads perfectly. Stands for the farrier in cross ties. Easy to bathe, clip and catch. In the field he is low in the pecking order. He has very nice feet. I have had him with an eventing barn for some dressage work but he is primarily a show hunter. He loves to stand around the show and hang out. I see this horse being perfect for a mother and a daughter to take to shows. I have taken the time to do him right. He race one time and basically sat around till he turned 5. I started slowly going to local shows and then rated shows. Locally he is frequently champion and wins the hack. Always in the ribbons at the rated shows. This horse is an easy keeper. With the guidance of a trainer this horse is a perfect 3 foot horse. I recommend an intermediate rider who is looking for a show hunter that is priced right. I purchased him for myself but I thought he would be a little taller. He is a really sweet horse that I feel is safe and I would love to see him get a good home. This fall he was ridden by a 14 year old who felt completely safe and loved his head carriage. This is your next packer!

UPDATE: Last competed October 2012 with a score of 67% at Fourth Level 2.

Wolkenprinz has competed at Third and Fourth Level dressage with scores to 67%. A son of Weltmeyer he is handsome, a fancy mover and bred for the sport. He is well put together with a good history of soundness and requires no maintenance. Though well-schooled and very comfortable to ride, Wolki is large and forward thinking so might be best-suited for a rider with some experience and/or access to consistent coaching. He is a very affectionate horse who enjoys human interaction and some quality time in his pasture.

Wolkenprinz has a recent vet exam including good hock x-rays.

If the rider is unclear, he will wait until a more determined cue is given. He can be a little pushy in hand but is fine with correction. There is no meanness to this horse.

 Video:  http://www.metacafe.com/w/10022340

Kid Cruise is a great all around family horse who can do almost any job you want. Hes very quiet to ride, is a nice mover, honest and straightforward over fences, and has been foxhunted regularly and used as a guest horse this year. Hes had tons of trail riding experience alone and in company. Previously ridden by a junior in 4H and Pony Club. Can be ridden English or Western. A kind horse with excellent manners, good to load, clip, shoe, etc. Cruiser would make a really nice lower level dressage or event prospect, trail horse, foxhunter, or horse for the whole family.

Riddick is a very athletic and honest youngster that is ready for you to finish in any discipline. He is green broke to walk, trot, and canter. He trots and canters poles and just recently jumped for his first time. He has a very willing temperament combined with lots of scope and athleticism. Is bred well for eventing, but would be very suitable and competitive as a future eventer, jumper, equitation horse, or B circuit hunter. He has 3 lovely gates and a HUGE step. He is very comfortable to ride and was very comfortable over his first fences. He cross ties, clips, loads, stands for the farrier/vet. Does NOT have any vices or soundness issues. He is just under 16h and is still maturing. |He has been off the property a handful of times and has been great each time.|He is ready for a professional or experienced Amateur to finish off and start showing.

She has her lead changes and has the movement to be a hack winner. Easily and comfortably trail rides as well. Excellent ground manner, no vices. Darling So is relatively green show mileage wise but has been in consistant training with a top professional for the past 6 months and is ready to start her show career. She is a sell off from a large breeding program in PA. Recent vetting was done and shows clear x-rays of the hocks and feet as well as normal findings on eyes, heart and lungs.

LOT 10: Jameson

2000 Chestnut Gelding (Appealing Skier x Brides Book) Consigned by Marisa Kalmar Cornerstone Farm.
NEW VIDEO - Shown Intercollegiate and Lower Level Amateur Jumpers. Doing 2nd Level Dressage

 Notes:

NEW VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzfkMsEijnA&feature=youtu.be

Jameson is an athletic, brave, honest work-a-holic. This horse loves to work and learn and will try to do whatever you ask of him. The last few years he has been ridden by some Adult Amateurs looking to get back into riding and doing the lower level jumpers. He is very suitable as a Child/Adult Jumper and capable of doing the Low Jr/Amateurs with accomplished riders. He loves schooling cross country, his dressage work is wonderful through 2nd level and he has a big enough steady step to even do the Adult Amateur hunters. He has gone cubbing as well and is great with the hounds and hunt. He has even done intercollegiate horse shows. He is truly a do it all type horse and have a blast while doing it. While he spends more of his time on the lazy side he is very sensitive to all aids and can get strong. We ride him 95% of the time in a french link snaffle and every once in a while in a slow twist. He is spending most of his time lately doing lessons and being ridden by an adult amateur. He deserves a show home that is going to be active and competitive because he is talented and fun.

He has recently been showing with an older adult in the 3', but he has actually competed through level 5 jumpers as a 5 year old and is a solid 3'6+ horse.  He could easily do the low Jr/A-O jumpers (4') with an experienced rider

While I have lost his JC papers he is tatooed and is eligible for Thoroughbred classes and incentives. His JC name is No Chance to Ski but he is registered with the USEF as Jameson.

I have owned this horse since he came off the track as a 4 year old stallion so I can answer any questions about him.

He is playful in turn out and often comes in with knicks and bruises. His legs have some lumpy spots mostly from playtime incidents but they are superficial and he has not had any lameness issues in the 9 years that I have owned him. He is great to haul, clip, bathe, stand for farrier/vet etc. No vices.

LOT 24: WITHDRAWN - Veterinary withdrawal

Current Bid: $0.00          Next Bid: $500.00          Withdrawn
LOT IS CLOSED
Notes: Bobby is a 5 year-old tb gelding. He raced once as a 3 year-old, but didnt show any talent and was sent into professional event training for six months. Bobby is smart and sweet, but is green. He can WTC and jump small crossrails and verticals. I have hacked him in the field with no problems. He is very willing under saddle and is a top Sporthorse prospect. Bobby moves like a warmblood with big elastic gaits; he is not your typical Ottb in that he is super soft in your hands and he does not try to run away with you. He is just green. I have taken him to a dressage show where he received 1st and 2nd place at his FIRST show. I was very impressed by his calm and quiet attitude. He loads, ties, and is good for the vet and farrier. He has no vices and is UTD on everything. I am selling because I am currently in school and do not have the time in my schedule to give him the amount of time he deserves. Bobby will be a TOP show horse and has unlimited potential in whatever discipline you choose!
